CH Country Wings No More Credit, co-owned by Doug Hildre, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club show on January 5, 2008.
Villairn's Blaze Of Glory, owned by Doug Hildre, was named Winners Bitch at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club show on January 5, 2008. She earned her first major, and now has five points total.

December

CH Sidori's Claret, owned and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Best of Breed at the Granite City Kennel Club show on December 8 and 9, 2007.

Bernergardens Painted Daisy TG, owned by Coleen, Tom, and Diane Carroll and bred by Coleen Carroll and Rick Bryan, completed her AKC championship by being named Best of Winners at the Granite City Kennel Club show on December 8, 2007.
Sidori Rainin Cats L Watsons, owned by Julie Latterell and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex at the Granite City Kennel Club show on December 8, 2007. He earned 1 point and now has 12 total.

Schwarten's Cherry Cola-On-Ice CGC, owned and bred by Craig & Theresa Schwarten, was named Winners Bitch at the Minneapolis Kennel Club show on November 18, 2007. She earned her first point.

Sidori's Claret, owned and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the Sioux Empire Kennel Club show on October 28, 2007. She earned her second major and now has thirteen points total.
Sidori Rainin Cats L Watsons, owned by Julie Latterell and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Best of Winners both days at the Mason City Kennel Club show on October 13 and 14, 2007. He earned 1 point each day and now has 10 total.

Sidori's Claret, owned and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the Rochester Kennel Club show on September 15, 2007. She earned two points and now has ten total.
Sidori Rainin Cats L Watsons, owned by Julie Latterell and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at the Cedar Rapids Kennel Association show on September 1, 2007. He earned 2 points and now has 7 total.

August

Thistledown Sabrina V JN's CD RE OAP, owned by Carol Manley & Nancy Mayer, earned three legs towards her Rally Advanced Excellent title by double qualifying in Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show between August 24 and August 26, 2007. She placed 4th in Excellent B and 1st in Advanced B on Saturday and 1st in both Excellent B and Advanced B on Sunday. Her three first place finishes were all perfect 100s.
CH Dou-Hil's A Lucious Dream, owned by Sandra and Lenora Horn, bred by Doug Hildre, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show on August 26, 2007.

Dou-Hil's A Lucious Dream, owned by Sandra and Lenora Horn, bred by Doug Hildre, completed her AKC Championship by being named Best of Winners at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show on August 25, 2007
CH Castlemtn B Head Over Heels, owned by Karen & Jerry Johnson, completed her Rally Novice title at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show on August 25, 2007.
Zanzebern Jackaroo Ozzie, owned by Sarah Tennessen, was named Winners Dog at the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show on August 25, 2007. He earned his first major and now has nine points.

  • Dou-Hil's A Lucious Dream, owned by Sandra and Lenora Horn, bred by Doug Hildre, was named Resrved Winners Bitch.
  • Abbey Rd Seargent Pepper, owned by Bill and Lee Horn, bred by the Wilkins, won the Veteran Dogs 9 - 11 Years class.
  • CH Co Wings Genie In A Bottle, owned and co-bred by Doug Hildre, won the Veteran Bitches 7 - 9 Years class.
  • CH J & N's Phoenix Rising, owned and bred by John and Nancy Mayer, was named Best Veteran in Sweepstakes. He was also the oldest entrant of the specialty, just shy of 12 years of age.
  • CH Abbey Road's Kiley V Northfork, co-owned Karen Johnson and bred by the Wilkins, was named Best Opposite Sex Veteran in Sweepstakes.
CH UCD UCH Southwind TME Purple Majesty Am/Can CD RE HCT-s CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, was ranked #4 Novice A Bernese Mountain Dog for 2006 in the August issue of Front & Finish magazine.
CH Castlemtn B Head Over Heels, owned by Karen & Jerry Johnson, qualified in Rally Novice at the Coulee Kennel Club show on August 4 and 5, 2007 for her first two legs.
UCH Bostwick's Two Ps In A Pod CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, was named Best of Winners at the Coulee Kennel Club show on August 4, 2007. He earned two points and now has nine total.
Castlemtn's American Dream, owned by Karen & Jerry Johnson, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the Coulee Kennel Club show on August 4, 2007. She earned two points, bringing her total to five.

July

CH Abbey Road's Day Tripper, owned and bred by the Wilkins, was named Best of Breed at the Paper Cities Kennel Club show on July 21 and 22, 2007. He also earned a group 4 placement on July 22nd.
Zanzebern Jackaroo Ozzie, owned by Sarah Tennessen, was named Best of Breed at the Duluth Kennel Club show on July 15, 2007. He earned one point and now has six total.
Castlemtn B Head Over Heels, owned by Karen & Jerry Johnson, completed her AKC championship by being named Best of Opposite Sex at the Duluth Kennel Club show on July 15, 2007

Abbey Road He's The One, co-owned and bred by the Wilkins, was named Best of Winners at the Cambridge Minnesota Kennel Club show on June 24, 2007. He earned his first major and needs only a major to complete his championship.
CH Country Wings No More Credit, co-owned by Doug Hildre, was named Best of Breed at the Cambridge Minnesota Kennel Club show on June 23, 2007.
CH Country Wings No More Credit, co-owned by Doug Hildre, was named Best of Breed at the Anoka County Kennel Club show on June 22, 2007.
Sidori's Claret, owned and bred by Sharon Kranz, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the Anoka County Kennel Club show on June 22, 2007. She earned two points and now has eight total.
UCH Bostwick's Two Ps In A Pod CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, earned Group 4 placements at the Argus Kennel Club show on June 22 and June 23, 2007. He earned his first two points towards his Canadian Kennel Club championship.

  • Am/Can CH Chaska van 't Stokerybos, owned by Shannon Cihlar, made the first cut in the Best of Breed Bitches on May 12th.
  • Am/Can CH J & N's Phoenix Rising, owned by John and Nancy Mayer, placed first in Veterans Sweeps 11+ Years Dogs on May 8th.
  • Am/Can CH Abbey Road's Kiley v Northfork TDI, co-owned by Karen Johnson, bred by Deborah Wilkins, placed second in Veterans Sweeps 7-9 Years Bitches on May 8th, and third in Veteran Bitches 7-9 Years on May 11th.
  • Wynsome's High Velocity, owned by Shannon Cihlar, made the cut in the 9-12 month Puppy Dog Sweeps on May 8th and placed second in 6-9 Month Futurity Dogs on May 9th.
  • Sidori's Claret, owned and bred by Sharon Kranz, placed third in 15-18 months Junior Puppy Bitch Sweepstakes on May 8th.
  • UCH Bostwick's Two Ps In A Pod CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, placed fourth in 15-18 months Junior Puppy Dog Sweepstakes on May 8th.
  • A photo of CH UCD UCH Southwind TME Purple Majesty Am/Can CD RE HCT-s CGC TDI, taken by Adam Conn, tied for fourth in the Photo Contest category "Berners and Friends".
  • CH UCD UCH Southwind TME Purple Majesty Am/Can CD RE CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, passed both legs of the Herding Capability Test for sheep on May 7th. He earned the title HCT-s.
April

UCH Bostwick's Two Ps In A Pod CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, was named Best in Multi-Breed Show once each day at the Northern Lights American Eskimo Dog Association's UKC conformation show on April 21 and 22, 2007. He was also named Best of Breed and Group II winner on April 21 and Best of Breed and Group I on April 22 in the other two shows.

The following Bernese Mountain Dogs earned their Canine Good Citizenship certificate at the 4th Annual Swiss Fun Match on April 15th. Schwarten's Cherry Cola-On-Ice (Schwarten), Dou-Hil's Attitude Is Everything (Carroll), Easter Lily (Melby), Merlin the Magi (Trent), Bull Valley Schmutzteaufel V Hinks (Pearson), CH Northfork's Midnight Magic (Geragi), Dou-Hils A Cold One Michelob (McCabe), Schwarten's Gem of Winmara (Bebeau), C & M's Dayton's Bella (Dayton), and Castlemtn B Head Over Heels (Johnson), Kota (Kirchoff). In addition, Riley (mixed breed, Shaul), Rivendell Corona With Lime (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Nockles), and CH Chequamegon Ridge Runner (Clumber Spaniel, Bebeau) passed as well.

Bostwick's Two Ps In A Pod CGC TDI, owned by Adam and Amy Conn, earned his second competition win with a Group I placement at the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance UKC show on March 31, 2007.
Dou-Hil's A Lucious Dream, owned by Sandra and Lenora Horn, bred by Doug Hildre, was named Best of Breed at the Wisconsin Kennel Club show on March 4, 2007. She earned her second major and now has 14 points.

CH Country Wings No More Credit, co-owned by Doug Hildre, was named Best In Specialty on Friday and Saturday.
Am/Can CH Abbey Road's Kiley v Northfork, co-owned by Karen Johnson, bred by Deborah Wilkins, placed second in Veterans Sweeps 7-9 Years, first in Veteran Bitches 7-9 Years on Friday and second on Saturday.
Jonah Horn placed first in Novice Junior in Junior Showmanship on Friday and Saturday.
Sidori's Claret, owned and bred by Sharon Kranz, placed fourth in 15-18 Month Bitches Sweepstakes, and second in 12-18 Month Bitches on Saturday.
