Canine Structure and Movement Seminar | |||||
| On September 20, 2008, The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Greater Twin Cities will be presenting a Canine Structure and Movement Seminar with Margie Reho, Dallybeck Bernese Mountain Dogs. The event will be held at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge in Blaine, MN.
The seminar will be open to all, with a $25 admission fee for non-club members.
Tenative Schedule
Margie will give an easy to understand presentation that will allow attendees to gain an understanding of canine anatomy, the definitions of gait patterns, and the necessity of angulation and balance to good structure--which are the essentials to understanding movement in the Bernese Mountain Dog! She will help us understand shoulder assemblies and see examples of center lining, crossing, crabbing, pacing and padding in our much loved, live companion dogs. What’s normal, what’s correct? How do you spot faulty movement? Come and learn to see what the judges see! Dogs will be welcome on-leash at this event and ample opportunity will be provided to have Margie go over individual dogs.
